So far, so good!! I've been battling hot flashes for the last 3+ years (after a hysterectomy) and I've been miserable! My Dr put me on a testosterone hormone cream last year, and while it worked to stop the hot flashes, it left me with some undesirable side effects. The worst was that I lost all vocal control. I LOVE to sing. I was a decent vocalist, but since the testosterone thickens the vocal cords, I had lost all control in my upper register and became totally unable to sing anything above G below middle C! It sucked. I had almost accepted the fact that if I wanted to control the hot flashes, I wouldn't be singing again. I was mad and scared and devastated about it. I was complaining to a friend about it one night and she recommended the Amberen. I looked at their web page, read all the information,and contacted my primary Dr to see if Amberen would be safe to take along side my other meds. I even called the nurse they have at Lunada Biomedical to ask some questions. The the Dr seemed to think I could use this in addition to the meds I was taking, but the nurse at Lunada said that I shouldn't take it in conjunction with the testosterone cream and the progesterone cream I was using. I had to make a gut decision, and I fearfully discontinued the creams so I could let the Amberen do its thing. The first week I took it, I had just a few moderate hot flashes, enough to spook me, but not enough to bail the new efforts. By the end of the second week, I hardly noticed any hot flashes. I have completed my third week on the Amberen and I'm happy to report that the few hot flashes I've had lately have been quite mild and pass VERY quickly. It is recommended that you take a full 90 days of the Amberen and then go off it to see how long you can go before symptoms return. The friend who told me about it said she was symptom free for over a year. If the symptoms return, they recommend another 90 day course. I like that the IDEA is to get my body back on track so it can regulate itself, and the goal is NOT to have to take the Amberen as a supplement for the rest of your life! (WAY different philosophy than big pharma thinking!) I have high hopes for the success of Amberen. I feel like it has already made a big difference for me. The best part... my vocal control is returning!!! I can actually carry a tune, and I'm regaining the ability to sing in higher registers almost every day! I'm probably about 75% of the way back to normal and improving daily. I can't even express how delighted I am to be able to sing again! By taking the Amberen, I am able to get the excess testosterone out of my system and get back to being ME!

I’m 52 and was starting to get hot flashes. I was waking up every morning with my shirt off. I would get so hot my chest and back would sweat and I had to change my pillowcase every day. I had a few hot flashes, mainly at home in the evening that lasted a few minutes. I would feel panicked and have to take my robe or shirt off. My husband is under blankets while I’m in a tank top and shorts. (As a side note: I was diagnosed with severe anemia in Oct 2021 and was extremely cold natured for several years. Even though my iron level is much better, being hot is very abnormal for me). Someone told me about Amberen several years ago, so I decided to try it. At the time it didn’t do much for me because I didn’t need it yet. When all of these menopause symptoms started about 3 months ago, I decided to try it again. I’m an instant gratification person but decided to stick with it. I’m not sure how long it took for me to notice a difference, but I’d say less than than a month. I honestly didn’t think about it, I just noticed that I wasn’t waking up with my shirt off. I haven’t woken up sweating at night since I’ve been taking it. There was no moment when I thought “this stuff is working now!” I’m not sure about mood changes because I’ve always been somewhat grouchy. I’ve gained weight, but that’s because I’ve been eating poorly. I know some women eat healthy and exercise and still gain weight when they start going through menopause, but I’m not one of those women. I’ve recommended it to SO many people. I always tell them that I’m a skeptic for over the counter products that make unsubstantiated claims, but I stand behind Amberen 100%. I’m not on HRT at this time. As far as sexual issues that come with age, I don’t notice a difference there, unfortunately. I may end up on HRT, but I will continue to use Amberen as long as my doctor says it’s ok. I don’t know what is in this supplement , but I don’t care. The resolution of hot flashes is enough for me to keep taking it. I’m usually inconsistent with medications, but I do not forget this one! I’ve had ZERO side effects from it. If you’re having hot flashes and other menopause symptoms, go to the drugstore and get some today! It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every penny. I hope it works for everyone else as it had for me!

This product works. Give yourself at least 3 months and you’ll begin to feel a great difference.

helps hot flashes and mood swings

My OBG recommended me to test this over the counter product before I consider something else. Honesty I was impressed by how it calmed me down through out the day. My sleep didn’t improve much but overall this product worked well for me.

There are two pills you take daily and make sure you take them with meal, so you don’t get upset stomach.

I am planning on keep taking it for a while and see the long term effect.

I should have did more research. Product not recommended if you have any kidney concerns. Gave the unopened box to a co-worker who said it works very well for her.

I wrote a review for the Evening Primrose and it works better on my adult acne. I wrote that the evening primrose stopped my hot flashes but they came back just not as bad. I added this to my taking first thing in the morning and yes under control now. This has help 99% with the hot flashes and I don't see any side effects. I wanted to let everyone know how this has helped me and I use the evening primrose at night for my skin and added help with the hot flashes. Together all is well now. I hope they don't stop making this. Seems like when something is helping it is pulled off the market. I wanted to update how my hot flashes and skin acne is under control. This is amazing and I only ask if you could lower the price. . Thanks

I wanted to say because now that the company has jacked up the price because it is probably doing well in sells, They are not really thinking about the benefits of how it is helping people like myself. I'm not surprised but I wanted to come on here and tell everyone, unless you can afford to buy this every month, look else where. I'm having to do this now. This works well for me but I was spending $19.99 as of last year 2018. I'm now seeing a $20 increase in this one box of pills for 30 days, not 31. I'm on here now looking for something to replace this so those volcanoes don't come back to my head. I hate companies like this that are so much out for money than helping people. This is almost at $35 dollars for one box of a 30 day supply. I will no longer buy this product even though it does work for me. I'm now looking for a cheaper relief and if I find it, I will come back and say it works and it is worth cutting the cost buy almost $20. I'm now giving this a (1) STAR because of how high this product has become.

I have been using this for over 10 yrs, I use to just go over to the US and pick it up at the Walmart or order it online, t now with this damn Covid I can't get over there so had to order on Amazon. With the exchange it works out much more affordable to get it from the US but I don't have that luxury at the moment. It 1as $159.00 for the 3 pkgs and it's only 109$ with the exchange when I get it in the US. Lets see it go down in price, that would be a bonus. It works for me, and has for over 10 yrs. I have no symptoms, I'm 55 and had a total hysterectomy in 2013 so I have no hormones at all kicking around, but whatever is in this...give me no symptoms what so ever...All my friends are sleepless, hot sweats, cold sweats, no sexual desire etc....Me...I'm ready to roll at all times.
